SITUATION: Ca'n Picafort is located in the northwest of the island of Majorca, in the very centre of the Bay of Alcúdia, the biggest bay of the Balearics, with 17 kilometres of beach. Preserved areas of woods extend towards the east, with only two small villages and hardly any tourist development. At this end of the bay is Cap Farrutx, one of the most beautiful areas of the island, with cliffs and pinegroves of difficult access by car, but not by boat or hiking.
HOTEL FACILITIES: The air-conditioned public areas include a salon with SAT-TV, bar-cafeteria and a dining room with sea view. The outdoor facilities include a little private beach with a beach bar and a little playground for children.

EXCURSIONS/SPORTS: National Park of S'Albufera. The park is located right at one end of Ca'n Picafort, in the centre of the Bay of Alcúdia, at 39º47'36' N and 3º6'26' E. Its extension is of 1.708,75 hectares with a coastline of 1,45 Km. (beach and dunes). The altitude above sea-level varies between 0 m. and 9,90 m., the maximum depth of the waters is 2,5 m. The hydrographic basin is 654,5 Km2 with superficial contributions of 20-24 Hm3/year.
